I met Jim Barton at my brother's property in the spring of 2011. My brother chopped down a couple big cherry trees. He wanted me to have the wood for my clock-building hobby. Jim was very pleasant, professional and accommodating. He's an artist when it comes to milling the wood. The results of his handiwork meant there was very little planing necessary on my part. Jim also cut some veneer for me, and his suggestion to compress all my veneeer to prevent cupping has worked well and it cured well and prevented checking. I look forward to doing business with Jim again.
